About the Artist
Oyebola Famuyiwa spent years viewing the world through the uncompromising lens of engineering. Today, he pairs that rigorous eye for structural geometry with a profound obsession for African heritage.
Now based in Canada but tethered deeply to the Atlantic coastlines and urban heartbeat of Nigeria, Oyebola navigates complex environments—from high-altitude vantage points to intimate ground-level perspectives—to freeze single, unrepeatable seconds of African light. Whether capturing the sweeping scale of the continent from above or the raw, immediate textures of its streets, his goal remains singular: to build museum-grade visual monuments that do justice to the sheer scale of human ambition. His architectural precision and cultural storytelling have earned prominent placement across major global institutions and curated exhibitions.
